What an incredible day walking in the Allston-Brighton Parade! We made our way down vibrant Brighton Avenue, through the heart of Brighton Center, and into the welcoming streets of Oak Square.

The 22nd Annual Brian J. Honan 5K, presented by New Balance, was packed with energy this morning! We loved cheering on all the incredible runners as they raced through Allston-Brighton.

Had a great time at the South Boston Street Fest, where small businesses, residents, new neighbors, and visitors came together to celebrate the thriving South Boston community.

Had a wonderful time at Shaw’s in East Boston celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with the amazing Veronica Robles alongside Councilor Mejia! It was a vibrant event honoring the rich culture and traditions of our community. Thank you for including us!

Had an amazing time volunteering at this morning’s Mission Hill 5K!

This morning was spent in community at El Mundo’s Annual Hispanic Heritage Breakfast. So proud to count myself as part of such an incredible Hispanic & Latinx community who is deeply embedded in the social, cultural, and economic fabric of this city.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of meeting with Vanessa Calderón-Rosado from Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA) in Boston’s South End.

Proud to stand alongside my City Council colleagues, Mayor Wu, the Boston Housing Authority (BHA), the Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH), and the Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion (OEOI) to announce $7 million in ARPA funding to support first-time homebuyers and local small businesses.

Thank you to all who attended the Ready Boston Field Day in JP this weekend! Shout out to Ky’Ron and the Boston Office of Emergency Management team for putting together a variety of activities to help prepare Boston’s families for emergencies.

Spent Saturday afternoon at the Martha Eliot Health Center Health Fair, hosted annually by Boston Children’s Hospital. It’s a fantastic event dedicated to providing families with valuable health education and resources.

Thanks to the Open Streets team for coordinating this weekend’s Open Streets in East Boston and everyone who stopped by the table to play Jenga, leave a doodle on the sidewalk and play hopscotch with us! We loved meeting you!

We were thrilled to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony and had the opportunity to explore the remarkable new facility at the Josiah Quincy Upper School in Chinatown. It’s a truly impressive space, designed with incredible features that will undoubtedly foster an enriching environment for learning and growth.

Honored to join the community for DeeDee’s Cry 7th anniversary walk, standing in solidarity with survivors, families, and all those impacted by suicide. We were able to walk alongside fellow Councilors Louijeune & Mejia as well as Senator Miranda for the morning’s event.
