The Louis D. Brown Peace Institute knows how to throw a party! This weekend, we had the pleasure of joining them for their 9th Annual Peace B’Que in Dorchester. The event was a celebration of the important work they’re doing to support families affected by trauma, grief, and loss.

We had an amazing time at National Night Out 2024! This annual community-building campaign fosters police-community partnerships and strengthens neighborhood bonds. It was inspiring to see neighbors, community organizations, and city resources come together for the evening.

So glad we were able to pop into Faneuil Garden Development’s UNITY Day on Saturday! The organizers pulled out all the stops with an incredible lunch plus cotton candy and snow cones, and an inflatable obstacle course for the kids.

Yesterday, we stopped by Rozzie Bound Books for their Consumer Owner Appreciation event with Councilor Pepén! This indie gem in Roslindale is a unique multi-stakeholder cooperative, meaning it’s owned by both the workers and the customers. It’s always incredible to have the opportunity to visit and connect with local businesses.
