Meetinghouse Hill Firehouse Opening in Dorchester

Honored to celebrate the opening of Boston’s newest firehouse in the Meetinghouse Hill neighborhood of Dorchester! This state-of-the-art facility replaces the nearly 100-year-old firehouse that has served our community for generations.

The new firehouse also includes a special memorial to Marie Conley, a beloved community member and crossing guard who heroically gave her life in 2008 while saving a young student from a speeding car. Her legacy of selflessness and courage will forever be a part of this neighborhood.

With the latest technology and safety features, this firehouse ensures that our brave firefighters can continue delivering the exemplary service our residents deserve.
