Meetinghouse Hill Firehouse Opening in Dorchester

Honored to celebrate the opening of Boston’s newest firehouse in the Meetinghouse Hill neighborhood of Dorchester! This state-of-the-art facility replaces the nearly 100-year-old firehouse that has served our community for generations.

The new firehouse also includes a special memorial to Marie Conley, a beloved community member and crossing guard who heroically gave her life in 2008 while saving a young student from a speeding car. Her legacy of selflessness and courage will forever be a part of this neighborhood.

With the latest technology and safety features, this firehouse ensures that our brave firefighters can continue delivering the exemplary service our residents deserve. Congratulations to the Boston Fire Department and the City’s Public Facilities Department for making this critical investment in our community’s safety!
