Honored to join the community for DeeDee’s Cry 7th anniversary walk, standing in solidarity with survivors, families, and all those impacted by suicide. We were able to walk alongside fellow Councilors Louijeune & Mejia as well as Senator Miranda for the morning’s event.

Continuing our visits this morning at Tobin School in Mission Hill, we connected with local advocate Leon Rivera to discuss pedestrian safety & ways to enhance family safety in the area. We also had the chance to catch up with Caitlin Gaffey, who taught when I attended Tobin!

Had a meaningful visit to Shirley’s Pantry with Team Santana! We helped restock produce, pack meals and support their team.

Team Santana Neighborhood Clean Up in Dorchester
That’s a wrap on the neighborhood clean ups organized by our summer intern team! Throughout August we’ve visited Mattapan, Roxbury and Friday we took to the streets of Dorchester joined by Councilor Fitzgerald and friends from ITYouth, Greater Ashmont Main Streets, and Sociedad Latina!
We’re so grateful to be able to give back to the community and help keep our streets clean. Thanks to everyone who has joined us throughout the clean up series!
