Today was a truly inspiring afternoon spent at the 2024 WINKids BOOK BAN-D Poetry Month Event hosted at BPL Roxbury! It was heartwarming to witness the enthusiasm and creativity of the incredible group of kids who joined us. Together, we delved into the power of words and found connection through poetry.

Councilor Santana visited with the YouthConnect program to learn more about the unique program which is part of Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston (BGCB) that provides violence prevention, intervention, advocacy and mental health services to young people who are involved in the criminal justice system and their families.
