WINKids Book Ban-D Poetry Month Event

Today was a truly inspiring afternoon spent at the 2024 WINKids BOOK BAN-D Poetry Month Event hosted at BPL Roxbury!

It was heartwarming to witness the enthusiasm and creativity of the incredible group of kids who joined us. Together, we delved into the power of words and found connection through poetry.

Together we read Anthony Orozco’s poem “Mano a Mano” which served as a powerful reminder of the importance of coming together, hand in hand.

As we celebrated Poetry Month, we not only immersed ourselves in the beauty of language but also cultivated a sense of community and belonging.
