Recognition for 332nd Fighter Group, the Tuskegee Airmen & Brigadier General Enoch “Woody” Woodhouse II
Today’s Boston City Council meeting honored the legendary 332nd Fighter Group, the Tuskegee Airmen, with a special resolution. We were privileged to recognize Brigadier General Enoch “Woody” Woodhouse II—a hero to our country, our city, and Mission Hill.
I first sat down with General Woodhouse in 2019 while working for former Councilor Kenzie Bok. He took the time to offer guidance and told me, “I see something special in you.” His mentorship and example have shaped my path in public service.
Alongside my colleagues Councilor Flynn and Councilor Durkan, it was an honor to recognize his legacy and sacrifices. Thank you, General Woodhouse, for your service and inspiration.
