Volunteering & Walk Through with St Francis House

Last week, we had the privilege of visiting and volunteering at St. Francis House, which opens its doors to nearly 600 individuals experiencing homelessness each day.

The visit was inspiring, and it was an honor to connect with some of the individuals they serve. Witnessing firsthand the essential services they provide—from housing support and cooked meals to behavioral health services—reinforced the critical role they play in our community.

A special thank you to Karen LaFrazia, President and CEO, for an insightful tour and for sharing the mission and impact of this incredible organization.

As elected officials, it is our responsibility to support and uplift organizations like St. Francis House as they address some of our city’s most pressing challenges. We are committed to advocating for the resources and partnerships they need to continue this essential work.
