Boston City Council Working Session on Mixed-Income Social Housing

Many thanks to everyone who attended Thursday’s working session on Mixed-Income Social Housing. It was an engaging and productive discussion, where we explored how Montgomery County, MD has successfully driven mixed-income and affordable housing development through the innovative use of a revolving fund. We were honored to be joined by esteemed guests, including Kenzie Bok, Administrator of the Boston Housing Authority; Paul Williams, Executive Director of the Center for Public Enterprise; and Council President Andrew Friedson, Chair of the Planning, Housing & Parks Committee from the Montgomery County, MD Council. Their insights were invaluable in deepening our understanding of the challenges and opportunities in housing policy.

A special thanks to Miles Howard, who was there covering the event for the Boston Globe, ensuring that these important conversations reach a broader audience. Together, we are making strides toward more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable housing solutions for Boston.
