Allston/Brighton Coffee Hours with Mayor Wu

Revisited Brighton roots today at the Allston/Brighton coffee hour! Councilor Santana, who attended Winship Elementary after arriving from the Dominican Republic, shared how the school made a lasting impact on him. Heard from Kate England, Director of Green Infrastructure, about how green initiatives can address neighborhood issues like flooding and updates from Mayor Wu on the Jackson Mann Community Center’s upcoming move.

Thanks to everyone who grabbed a beautiful plant from the Boston Parks Department!
