2024 Pride Presentation & Reception at the Boston City Council
A heartfelt thank you to the 20+ organizations who joined us for this year’s Pride Reception and Presentation, hosted in collaboration with Councilor Breadon.
Your daily efforts to enhance the lives of our LGBTQIA+ community members are both seen and deeply appreciated. We were thrilled to honor each organization on the City Council floor and to hear from inspiring speakers, including Arline Isaacson from the MA LGBTQ+ Political Caucus, Sister Brother Freddie Anne Willing from the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Cheryl Kanton from Fenway Health & Pride in Our Workplace, Sasha Goodfriend from the Trans Emergency Fund, and Grace Sterling Stowell from BAGLY.
We were grateful to welcome and hear from Councilors Louijeune, Fernandes Anderson, Flynn, FitzGerald, Durkan, Weber, Mejia, and Murphy, as well as MA State Representative Sam Montaño, during the reception ahead of the City Council meeting.
