We had an amazing time at Open Streets Hyde Park this weekend! It was a pleasure strolling through the transformed streets, connecting with neighbors and visiting the tents of local businesses. We also had the opportunity to catch up with some local great organizations, like the Pryde, TQNC, and even bumped into Councilor Pepen.

We had a fantastic time visiting the Franklin Park Zoo for Membership Day, hosted by SEIU Local 888! It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow members and enjoy a day at the zoo. We were grateful to spend time with Councilors Louijeune & Murphy, discussing important community issues and the positive impact that events like these have on bringing people together.

We had the pleasure of connecting with neighbors at the Garrison Trotter Neighborhood event in Roxbury. It was heartwarming to see the community come together in such a meaningful way.

The Louis D. Brown Peace Institute knows how to throw a party! This weekend, we had the pleasure of joining them for their 9th Annual Peace B’Que in Dorchester. The event was a celebration of the important work they’re doing to support families affected by trauma, grief, and loss.

Today, we kicked off our clean-up series with a great start at Dudley Café, taking on Nubian Square alongside our dedicated team of interns, neighbors, and special guest Councilor Fernandes Anderson and her team!

Today we joined Unite Here Local 26 on City Hall Plaza. Boston is a union town, and we always support the right for workers to organize for livable wages and fair benefits!

We had an amazing time at National Night Out 2024! This annual community-building campaign fosters police-community partnerships and strengthens neighborhood bonds. It was inspiring to see neighbors, community organizations, and city resources come together for the evening.

Saturdays are for Farmer’s Markets! Thank you to Cynthia Loesch-Johnson for the invite to join the Codman Square Farmer’s Market this weekend and to all the vendors who work so hard to bring their wares to the community.

We had the pleasure of visiting the STRIVE extended school year program at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School this week and were truly inspired by the dedication and support offered to the students.

Had a wonderful time at UNITY Day at Alice H Taylor Development on Saturday! The day featured a live DJ, cotton candy, and an inflatable obstacle course for the kids.

We had an amazing time immersing in the vibrant culture of Puerto Rico at the Boston Puerto Rican Festival and Parade at Franklin Park last weekend!! This annual celebration brought us all together to experience the rich heritage of Puerto Rico through music, food, and community.

So glad we were able to pop into Faneuil Garden Development’s UNITY Day on Saturday! The organizers pulled out all the stops with an incredible lunch plus cotton candy and snow cones, and an inflatable obstacle course for the kids.

A big thank you to Matagordenses Unidos En Exterior for hosting such a delightful community celebration at Franklin Park this weekend. It was a pleasure to enjoy the beautiful summer day with Boston’s Dominican community.

Thrilled to have joined the Mission Main Tenant Taskforce for another incredible Fun Day! Each year, this celebration gets bigger and better. A huge shoutout to Ms. Willie Pearl for her remarkable leadership and dedication to the residents of Mission Main.

This unique shop is LBGTQ+, BIPOC owned featuring New Zealand style ice cream shop with fun flavors using local ingredients.

Yesterday, we stopped by Rozzie Bound Books for their Consumer Owner Appreciation event with Councilor Pepén! This indie gem in Roslindale is a unique multi-stakeholder cooperative, meaning it’s owned by both the workers and the customers. It’s always incredible to have the opportunity to visit and connect with local businesses.

Despite the rain, we had a successful day connecting with Mattapan’s business community during our business walk with Councilor Pepen. Our team visited several local businesses, engaging with owners and staff to discuss their experiences and concerns.

We had an incredible time at the 28th Annual Taste of Eastie event, hosted by East Boston Main Streets!
